Emily Seebohm wins world title in women’s 100 backstroke

The 100m backstroke final has just been contested at the 16th FINA World Championships in Kazan. The world's top eight female swimmers competed for spots on the podium.

Two-time Olympic champion, Emily Seebohm of Australia, ended up earning gold medal after finishing the race in 58.26. Silver medallist Madison Wilson of Australia stopped the watch in 58.75. Mie Nielsen of Denmark completed the podium with a time of 58.86.
