Jennie Johansson wins world title in women’s 50m breaststroke

The second final heat of the closing day of the 16th FINA World Championships finished a few seconds ago in Kazan. The world’s eight best female swimmers competed for medals in the 50m breaststroke event.

Swedish swimmer Jennie Johansson became the winner of the 50m breaststroke race, stopping the watch at 30.05. Alia Atkinson of Jamaica snatched silver, her result being 30.11. Russia’s Yuliya Efimova settled for the third spot of the podium, touching home in 30.13.
